ABOUT US

We are a small, family-run business set near the idyllic Sherwood Forest England. Our village straddles the River Trent and boasts a blacksmithing tradition going back centuries; we aim to live up to the standards of the past.

And if you’re wondering—yes, I built this site too. Granted, it doesn’t have the fine polish of a seasoned developer, but it’s sturdy and doesn’t include a single line of bootstrapped code. Nothing leaks. We haven’t taken the easier route of using ready-made frameworks in exchange for their owners tracking you across the internet. Your privacy is valuable, and we’re not interested in helping others steal it. On that note: no data about you is saved here. We’re not interested in your browsing history or your bank details— that’s all handled securely by Stripe. It’s as though you’ve wandered into a Victorian smith’s shop, bay windows warm and inviting. Even this website is self-hosted. Why pay someone to host your site and have access to all your data, when you can run it on your own computer for a fraction of the price?

  • Shipping: We use Royal Mail.
  • Refunds: 30 days. Don’t like it? Return it. You’ll need to pay the shipping costs.
  • Damaged in transit: A replacement will be sent out—no huffing or puffing.
  • Tariffs: We pay all U.S. tariffs.
  • Upcoming: We’ll soon be accepting cryptocurrency. And yes, that’s singular—there’s only one true coin. The rest are just digital tokens spun out of a hundred lines of bootstrapped JavaScript.

Questions? We’ll reply to every message, and we’re happy to. However, if you want to contact us, you’ll need to register and then email us. It’s a line of defense against the bots—yes, a little annoying, but not everyone in the world is like you and me.
